Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phu graduated as a medical doctor in 2010 and completed his Level I Specialization training in 2016 at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine.

Additionally, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phu has participated in advanced professional training courses and obtained numerous certifications—including those in emergency medicine, general ultrasound, cardiovascular ultrasound, acute stroke management, electrocardiography (ECG), mechanical ventilation, and blood purification—from institutions such as Cho Ray Hospital, Gia Dinh People's Hospital, and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City.
