I. HEALTH INSURANCE
Outpatient + Inpatient Services: The hospital accepts all valid health insurance cards (BHYT) from provinces across Vietnam according to the following procedure:
Customers register and fill in initial personal information at the registration desk on the ground floor.
Present your Citizen Identification Card (CCCD) / Identification code at the reception desk.
Nurses guide patients to the examination rooms.
Doctors examine, prescribe tests, and provide prescriptions.
Customers pay any difference in service fees and medication costs upon payment (if applicable).
Return for follow-up examination as scheduled (if any).
II. PREMIUM HEALTH INSURANCE
To facilitate patients with both inpatient and outpatient treatment, Tam Tri Sai Gon General Hospital accepts insurance cards from the following companies:
BAOVIET, BAOMINH, INSMART, DAI ICHI, GROUPAMA, PACIFIC CROSS (CATHAY, FUBON...), FTC, SAS, LIBERTY, MIC, GENERALI, PAPAYA, BAO AN KHANG, ATACC, MIC, SUNLIFE, AIA, MANULIFE...
Direct Inpatient Guarantee:
The hospital temporarily holds the health insurance card (BHSK), Citizen Identification Card (CCCD) / Passport / Birth Certificate (for patients under 18) until the patient is discharged.
Insurance staff/nurses guide customers to sign forms and perform insurance transactions according to procedures.
Insurance staff/nurses notify the customer of the initial transaction status (patient undergoing inpatient treatment).
Insurance staff/nurses notify the customer of the final transaction status (patient discharged).
The hospital cashier collects the difference fee for services according to the hospital's published price list after deducting the amount covered by insurance (if any).
Note:
The guaranteed amount varies depending on the benefits of each insurance card that the customer signed with their insurance company.
Outpatient Examination:
Customers present their insurance card + CCCD/Passport/Birth Certificate (for patients under 18) to the insurance staff, who will guide the customer to sign the insurance form.
Customers provide all medical examination and treatment documents. Insurance staff proceed with outpatient insurance transactions.
Customers pay any difference in medical examination and treatment fees directly to the hospital (if any). The hospital’s insurance staff assists customers/patients in completing claim documentation.
